get this message SSH protocol error (unexpected or malformed message) I have disabled the firewall and still can not connect. I'm able to ssh thru putty just fine thou. please any help will be appreciated! Thanks |

You're going to need to either upgrade AccuTerm or downgrade Windows. Microsoft made a change in the Crypto code in Windows 8.1 which caused SSH to fail. We have worked around the change in AccuTerm 7 release 7.1c. Since AccuTerm 2K2 is not supported under Windows 8/8.1, there is no plan to update the older version of AccuTerm to work around the Crypto change. Putty works because it does not use Windows Crypto.
