There is no way to make DL the default. I cannot think of anything simple that you could use to work around this. There are some complex scenarios that might work, but it would involve running a pre-UV program in your .profile that 1) verified that AccuTerm was the client, and 2) queried the device licensing property of the AccuTerm session. Then either invoke 'uv' or 'uvdls' depending on the answers. The whole process seems very delicate. Thanks, Pete |

Since updating UniVerse to version 11.3.1 we're having trouble with sessions stalling for more than a minute after login. We're using AccuTerm 7. We tracked the problem to the Device Licensing checkbox - we have DL on the server, and start UniVerse with uvdls. As long as the users open a saved session that has the box checked they're OK. The problem is that when users open a new session with either the toolbar icon or File > New they get the default which does not enable DL. Is there a way to make Device Licensing be the default for new sessions?
