There's some fuction keys that all our applications repond to, and it makes sense to have these as menu events. So when writing a new application they're something to have to remember to add.

Is there a way of creating a template, so that when a new form is created it automatically has a menu, or any other controls, included?

Hi -

There is no way to create a form template - you can create custom code templates, but not forms. One thing you could do is create a GUI project that you intend to use as a template, then when you start a new project, open both the new project and the template project, and use copy/paste to copy the form from the template project to the new project. Just rename the form after pasting into the new project.

Thanks,

Pete

That's pretty similar to the method currently in use - there's a version created and changed to be read only, which gets loaded in, then straight-away "saved as" under the proper name.
