Validate Event
I was doing some reading through the Accuterm GUI Enviroment on line help last night and happend to discover this little intresting tid-bit of information in the topic called event properties: Arguments: ARGS<1,1> contains the next edit control to get control, but more importantly, ARGS<2> contains the value of the control being validated. Of course when I tried this at first I used ARGS which failed miserably. If you use GUIARGS<2> guess what, it works. No more having to call ATGUIGETPROP in your validation event. The value is already there! Hope that helps, I know it has made my life much easier. As the old programmer saying goes: Its a amazing when you RTFM. |
