I have clients that have been using the outlook scripting to send emails. They recently changed from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2016 (not Express). The email function now errors with this:
Accuterm Script Error ActiveX Automation: server could not be found. Error Source line Set Outlook.App = CreateObject("Outlook.Application") Does this sound like a permissions issue? Bob |

Hi Bob -
Maybe there is something wrong with the registration of Outlook? Take a look at this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2827747/missing-registry-information-can-cause-problems-with-the-outlook-objec Another possibility is that the 64 bit version of Outlook 2016 is installed, and AccuTerm is a 32 bit program. Thanks, Pete |
