Hello, We are on Accuterm 7, and use WED extensively..

I usually type quickly, and then press F12 constantly to reformat my code. The problem is that the comment lines are reformatted and I get complaints from other developers and need to fix them manually..

Does anyone know of a solution to this?
Thanks,

Hi Jim -

The code formatter in wED has options for how you want to indent comments. There is no option to ignore comments when formatting. In the current version, 3 styles of comments are recognized, and the indent for each can be specified as "none", "margin" or "code". The two built-in styles are "*" comments and "!" comments. A user-defined comment prefix was added in AccuTerm release 7.2. The user-defined prefix is handy for directives, like $INCLUDE or #if.

Thanks,

Pete
