Does U2 device licensing work on Solaris? We have a customer on Solaris with Universe Enterprise Edition, device licensing is enabled but we cannot get it to recognize device licensing.

Hi Brian -
I don't know if anyone has attempted to use device licensing on Solaris. I would reccommend installing the debugging version of AccuTerm and monitor the connection to see if the device license code is issued by U2 and what response AccuTerm returns. Please send an email to support at asent dot com, including which version of AccuTerm you are using and I'll give you instructions on how to use the debugging version. Thanks, Pete |
