Pete,
Any chance that AT will support 3270 emulation? Just curious. Thanks, MC |

Shall I take the silence to mean "no 3270 any time soon"? :)
Does anyone else use 3270 emulators? I need an emulator with the kind of powerful scripting that AT supports. So far I've found several but they all have certain quirks or limitations that make my project impossible. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have. -MC |

Hi MC -
Sorry about the slow response - getting a new release out absorbs all available engergy! No plans on adding 3270 emulation any time soon. Its on the "wish list", but we have no one with expertise in mainframe terminals. Thanks, Pete |

Pete,
Thanks. I've learned more about 3270/5250 emulation than I ever wanted to! I did find a terminal emulator that is (almost) as good as AccuTerm and that supports 3270: SmarTerm by Esker. They have an excellent macro language but the debugger/IDE isn't nearly what AT has. Thanks, MC |
