We are trying to download specific notes from a multivalued file into Excel. We can select the notes using "by-exp" but when we download them into Excel it loads all of the notes. Do you have any suggestion how we can just download the specific values that we are looking for.

Hi John -
I don't think you can download only specific values of a multi-value field. You might need to create a temporary file on the host side that has only the data you need to download, then download to Excel from the temporary file. Alternatively, if you are creative, you might be able to create a special dictionary item that uses a called subroutine or I-descriptor to retrieve only the desired values. Thanks, Pete |
