Topic: Placing a window Top LeftPosted: March 08 2004 at 6:51am |

Our Accuterm GUI windows come up in usually civilized places. Having got used to using programming HTML pages to place themselves at a specifc X,Y pixel coordinate for top left corner, I wanted to know if this was now available in the Accuterm GUI template.
If not, put that on my feature request list. |

Alan,
You can manually position a windows starting position by going into GED and on the general properties tab change the values in the Position and Size Frame. There are four properties there, Left, Top, Width and Height. If you need to create a form dynamically at a specified location: CALL ATGUICREATEFORM(APPID, FORMID, EVENTMASK, CAPTION, TYPE, LEFT, TOP, WIDTH, HEIGHT, GUIERRORS, GUISTATE) I just checked the docs and low and behold once you create a window there is no way to use ATGUISETPROP to change it's dimensions or location. Hopefully Pete can chime in on this to clarify further. |

Hi -
You can call ATGUIMOVE to move or resize any object. Thanks, Pete |
