Topic: Remove the About AccuTerm 7 ScreenPosted: June 13 2012 at 6:10am |

I know you can remove the SPLASH screen by putting SPLASH=NO in the ini file. Is there a way to prevent the About AccuTerm 7 Screen from displaying?

Hi Ray -
The "about" screen displays from the Help->About menu. I suppose you could customize the menu to remove "about" as a choice. When using a developer's version of AccuTerm, the about screen is always shown when starting up. This cannot be changed. Thanks, Pete |

Ahhh ok I'll have to figure out another work around. The problem I'm running into is when you double click an ATCF file ACCUTERM does not grab the information from it until someone clicks ok on the About screen. I created software that has a list of server IP's. It alters the IP on a default.atcf file based on the server/client you have selected. If you try to connect to two servers at once... the program - Changes IP in ATCF File to Server 1 - Launches ATCF File - Changes IP in ATCF File to Server 2 - Launches ATCF Server two will show a log in prompt, when the user clicks ok on the about screen, instead of storing the IP it was originally launched with, it goes to look at the ATCF file after the about screen is clicked. This of course has now changed to the data of Server 2.
