Topic: AccuTerm is required to call DOSSVCPosted: March 24 2004 at 4:07am |

We are using AccuTerm 2000 to transfer many <5K files via Kermit using a DOSSVC call in a program. At random times the host will print the "AccuTerm is required to call DOSSVC" error between downloads failing to download the next file.
I have placed a short 3 second delay between each dowwnload to let AccuTerm catch up but this has only stopped the error from occuring as frequently. Any ideas on how to persue a more reliable batch download with this setup? thanks ritual |

Sorry I'm using a 3Com Network Card with a telnet connection to my database.

Hi -
I think there are some timing issues with the scripts used by DOSSVC when calling it rapidly. Try the AccuTerm 2K2 eval version and see if things work better. The timing problems should be resolved in 2K2. Thanks, Pete |
