Using AccuTerm 2K2, when entering in Unix, the Delete key generates garbage characters instead of deleting. This did not happen when we were using AccuTerm 97. We have to press Ctrl+Delete to delete text. Is there a way to change this?

There are actually two "Delete" keys on a Wyse keyboard - "Del" and "Del Line/Char". The standard programming for the Delete function was changed between AccuTerm 97 and 2000/2K2 to emulate the Wyse "Del Line/Char" key. You can easily change this back by programming the Delete key as "^?" (Tools->Settings->Keyboard->Keypad).
