Hi Pete, I'm not sure if you want enhancement requests by e-mail or in the forum but this info might help other developers.
You have a registry entry for the wED CompileCommand under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\ AccuTerm MultiValue Editor\Settings Since the CompileCommand and CompileOptions are platform dependent I'm requesting this parameter to be moved into the config INI (ATCF). I have clients in mvBASE where "BASIC" is used and I use D3 where I use "COMPILE". While both BASIC and COMPILE are valid verbs they behave differently in D3, and compiler options aren't the same across platforms either. I very often have multiple instances of AT open, with an instance of wED open for each one, so a single global config doesn't work. There is a temporary solution for developers though: Create a verb in the MD/VOC of any system you're working on called WEDCOMPILE. That verb should be a macro, proc, or program that properly compiles programs listed in the command line. Now set wED to use that verb, and each platform you work on will use it's own version. LanguageKeywords, UserKeywords, CaseSensitiveKeywords, and RecentFiles may also be good candidates for config-specific settings. Thanks! |

Hi Tony -
I have thought of moving some of the platform-specific settings out of the registry and to a config file on the host: ACCUTERMCTRL. Maybe I can do this in the next update cycle for WED. Thanks, Pete |
