This is the second year in a row that I have used Pete's great routines to create spreadsheets for all of our reps to take to their accounts, showing them the account activity for the past year.

All said, I might have put 20 hours into the project. I created ~1500 spreadsheets. At a (very) conservative estimate of 30 minutes per spreadsheet, I saved our sales department 750 man hours.

Thanks Pete!

It has been brought to my attention that the above post was a little ambiguous, so I thought I should clarify that the estimate of 30 minutes per spreadsheet was the amount of time it would have taken to create each spreadsheet if done manually.

Hi Gianni,

If you look in the OBJBP file (if you installed the object bridge programs when you installed), there is a program called UPDATE.EXCEL.SPREADSHEET that I was able to modify to suit my needs. It works quite well.

I need to do something very similar. Do you mind sharing your routine to create and save the spreadsheets?

Sorry for the delay. I've been a bit under the weather lately.

If you would like to give me some details about what you are trying to accomplish, I will see if I can help you out a bit. Please email your questions to LiveBlues*removethis*@gmail.com, I will see if I can head you down the right path.
