I upgraded from 7.0 to 7.1. I needed to do this to make an ssh connection as 7.0 was giving me an error.

I clicked on Help - about - check for updates and downloaded and ran atw71c.exe .

The install did not overwrite or remove the old 7.0 installation. Is this supposed to happen?

Should I remove Accuterm 7.0 and then install 7.1?

On a side note, is there a way to maintain the "recently used list" that shows up under File in Accuterm?

I should have aded this at the start - my workstation is Windows 7 64 bit

Hi Brian -

You can have 7.0 and 7.1 installed at the same time. If you don't want 7.0 anymore, just uninstall it. If you uninstall 7.0 after you have 7.1 installed, the file association for .atcf files might get removed. Not a big deal - you can always reset it or just reinstall 7.1. When 7.1 starts up the first time it should offer to import your settings & preferences from 7.0. This should include the recent file list.

Thanks,

Pete
