I was wondering if anybody has run across this and if there is an easy solution.
The background: Site using at2k2 with Wyse60 emulation, all screen settings are the defaults. When entering data into a screen field the width is shown by a reverse video box. When enter is pressed, the data is redisplayed in normal video, space padded left (i.e. with a 'L#n' mask). The problem: When workstations were changed to Win7 (from XP/Pro), when redisplaying the data after enter is pressed, the prior reverse video is not always completely removed -- there sometimes is a thin line at the very far left or the very far right (and sometimes both) of the field. If the data is the full width of the field (i.e. no space padding) then there is no trailing line. The kicker is otherwise it seems to be somewhat random (meaning I haven't figured out the pattern). Anybody have any thoughts? UPDATE: I just noticed something -- if I scroll the screen buffer back and then return to the current screen the lines disappear. |
