In trying to automate file transfer processes, I have written a small program that creates a script, writes it to VOC and executes the script. When running the program, I get a "FT requires AccuTerm to run!" error and "ACCUTERM/WN32" is not in your VOC.

If I exit the program and run the script from TCL, it runs just fine. Any suggestions?

I am using AccuTerm 2k2 with UV on Redhat and have loaded the new BP libraries.

The script in question:

SELECTed record name = "TESTFT16157".
8 lines long.

Bottom at line 8.

Hi Jeff -

When you are running the script from within the program, could there be something in the EXECUTE environment that is preventing output from the host to AccuTerm, like a CAPTURING clause, or maybe a PRINTER ON that is in effect?

Also, take a look at the FTSEND subroutine which you can call directly from your program using CALL instead of EXECUTE.

Thanks,

Pete
