Topic: SSH/LDAP connectionPosted: April 30 2015 at 5:40pm |

I am currently setting up LDAP on our Linux server to allow us to use Active Directory for logon credentials. From another server Linux server, I can type the following
ssh DOMAIN\\username@ip.address and I can connect and log in. I want to set up an Accuterm session to allow me to connect, but I am not able to get it working. I tried putting that command in the Host name field in the connection tab in 2k2, but when I try to connect I get a pop up dialog box that tells me that the Host entry not found in database. Has anyone done the same thing successfully? |

AccuTerm 7 supports including the user name in the host field for SSH, but AccuTerm 2K2 does not. I'm not sure what happens when you include the domain as well, but the part before the @ is the user name and the part after is the host name or IP address.
Thanks, Pete |

Pete,
Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded an evaluation copy of Accuterm 7 and I tried it out. It doesn't appear to support the domain name portion. I would connect to the server, but it wouldn't accept my password. I tried my command line version without the domain and it did the same thing. |
