We are using SSH telnet to connect, the TERM environmental variable in unix always shows as vt100 even when the chosen terminal type in ACCUTERM is different. I found this problem when choosing wyse60 or other vt emulations like vt220 or ADDS.

Sorry, I found the problem. Our Solaris Security Toolkit hard coded the term type in /etc/profile. I have no idea why it would do that.
