Topic: Use of colour on the message linePosted: May 07 2015 at 2:54am |

Hi Pete,
I'm using the ADDS Viewpoint A2 Enhanced emulation. AccuTerm is set to use a shared message and status line. I can output a message on the message line using the Escape sequence documented under Wyse programming. But this always seems to print in "normal" colour. I did have some success in applying a visual attribute using the ESC A n a sequence. But I wanted the colour to be variable, rather than fixed to the style. I also managed to use the SetText method to write to this part of the screen, but I'd prefer not to use a script for this purpose. Is there any (other) way to apply coloured text to this area using the standard escape sequence (ESC F message CR) ? Thanks, Brian |

Hi Pete,
Don't worry about the above question. After playing around some more, the use of SetText is working quite well. Cheers, Brian |
