Does AccuTerm have a built in utility to move an account from one PICK machine to another? I have a situation where I need to move an entire account from a very old PICK box to a newer PICK server. I guess I am looking for something similar to what Info/Link offered many years ago.

Hi Mark -

AccuTerm does not have an "account move" utility, but it does have a Pick-to-Pick file transfer utility. You can automate FTPICK using a PROC or BASIC program with EXECUTE and DATA statements. You would need to create all of the destination files on the target account first, then use your FTPICK driver to move each of the data or dict files to the target. You could probably write a program to scan the source account and have it automatically write a driver for FTPICK as well as a program to automcatically create the files on the target account.

Thanks,

Pete
