On one of my accounts I get a subscript out of range error when I FTD a file. If I go to another account I do the same FTD, same file and have no problem. All the programs are globally cataloged. I'm on UD5.2.6
Any idea as to what is missing on one account and not the other?

Here's the screen from the bad account:
:FTD

Hi -

What release of AccuTerm? Do you have the latest host programs installed (check the version in FTVERSN).

Thanks,

Pete

Turns out the 'ACCUTERMCTRL' file pointed to a different file in the two accounts. The account that didn't work had "2. Overwrite existing item....... Merge
". That was switched to "Yes" and now everything works as I wish it to.

I looked at the help screen and didn't see any warnings attached to merge. I guess my question now is, why didn't the FTD merge work?

Hi -

There were some problems with FTD in the initial release of AccuTerm 2K2, and I'm sure this is one of them. You should upgrade to 5.1c (or wait a couple of weeks and upgrade to 5.2 when it comes out). Its free since you have 5.0. After the upgrade, try FTD with Merge and see if it works OK. Also, be sure to install the new host programs after installing the upgrade on your PC!

Thanks,

Pete
