We are using Accuterm 2000 control with VB6, using VT emulation. Our application needs to support various European characters in the ASCII range 128+. We are using 8 data bits.

Which character set does AccuTerm uses for VT ? (i.e. Dec Multinational, ISO Latin-1...?). If we need to, is it possible to change, and if so, how ?

AccuTerm 2000 supports several character sets in VT emulation.

ESC ) B      sets G1 to US ASCII
ESC ) <     sets G1 to DEC Multinational
     ESC ) A     sets G1 to ISO-Latin1
     ESC ) 0           ;sets G1 to graphics
     ESC ) S     sets G1 to scientific
     ESC ) % 5     sets G1 to DEC Multinational

Similarly, you can set G0, G2 or G3 to any of the above character sets.

Thanks,

Peter

With AccuTerm 2K2, you can also specify a code point to substitute for the Euro symbol.
