Using AccuTerm 2K2 v 5.2a with a Telnet connection on a Win 7 Pro PC. When I open a new session it opens in a new tab in the current window. I would like to be able to open a new session in a new window so that I can snap the windows side-by-side. How do I go about doing this?

Open your two sessions in one instance of AccuTerm. Select the session that you want to appear on the left of the screen. From the menu bar: Window > Tile vertically

Perfect! Worked like a charm. Sorry for the late reply - I never got an email stating that this was updated. Thanks again!

If you had said you wanted to open two sessions within the same window, I would have recommended the other solution. ;) It "didn't work" because we were talking about two different things. If you still have Single Instance UNchecked, double click your AccuTerm icon from your desktop. This should open "a new session in a new window". These two approaches solve different problems. You'll notice with two sessions open in the same window your sessions are scrunched and might be difficult to see with a single monitor. If you have two monitors you'll find a new freedom with sessions open in each. HTH Good luck. |

My main concern was to be able to get 2 sessions side-by-side, so both solutions will work in this case. Thanks for your reply.
