I have windows xp sp1a I have acuterm 2000 the installer will not work at all, it starts then disappears and nothing elese happens. I have tried the retail version and the trial version. Is there anything I can do to correct this. I have turned off all virus scanners and other running programs. Are there any programs that conflict with the installer that I should check for??

There is nothing I know of that would cause the installer to simply quit. Does it prompt you for anything, or just quit immediately? Check the folder where you have the installation file and make sure there is no setup.ini file in the same folder - it could confuse the installer.
