Special chars getting into data files via Grid

   We have been having an issue where the TAB character- CHAR(9) is getting appended to data in our files. It would appear that it's happening in a grid control where the user TABS from column to column. It is not consistent and I suspect it may have to do with the speed at which the TAB key is hit. In other words TAB TAB TAB in rapid succession? Anyone else experienced this?
