Topic: FT error when executingPosted: July 13 2011 at 4:56am |

Trying to use FT to import data files from PC to an IBM AIX UniVerse system
I am not able to get it to run from within a proc without aborting, but AM able
to get the proc to run when directly entered from TCL... additional note:
This is also now happening on EXPORT when executing previously working procs.
A sample proc that gets written - Notice it contains the PC path ( C:\), filename (list2.txt), and destination filename (PW,0001) This proc is written into tempfile, PW,0002 We want to import a PC file into file PW,0001
SELECTed record name = "IMPORT-DATAFILE".
11 lines long. ED PW,0002
----: P
0001: PQN 0002: HFT 0003: STON 0004: HR< 0005: HK< 0006: HC:\< 0007: Hlist2.txt< 0008: HPW,0001< 0009: H< 0010: P 0011: X Bottom at line 11. ----: EX
When this program is run from the proc called from the menu system (which is a set of PQN procs), it results in the following error:
AccuTerm File Transfer Utility
-!EUser Abort+ However, when the command: >EPW0002 IMPORT-DATAFILE is entered at TCL, the transfer occurs as expected.
AccuTerm File Transfer Utility
Transfer status: Successful transfer.
Transferred 1 items, 100 bytes. The MD EPW0002 looks like:
> >ED MD EPW0002 3 lines long. ----: P
0001: PQN 0002: S2 0003: (PW,0002) Bottom at line 3.
The abort on EXPORT displays the following to the screen AccuTerm File Transfer Utility
"E )3AbortingY Anyone have a suggestion about what's happening here, and how to avoid it?
