Transparent (pass-through) Server setup

   This should be the easiest thing in the world so maybe I am looking in  all of the wrong places but:

I am trying to set things up so that I can print plain text files (mostly csv files) to the local (slave, pass-through, transparent) printer.

Using Linux/CUPs.

I can't seem to find any references to setting up lpd or CUPS printers to accomplish this.

Suggestions? Will be greatly appreciated!
