Is there a file size limit on what can be transferred when utilizing DOSSVC? I'm attempting to transfer an 11 meg .msi file and it transfers 1 kb then quits.

Hi Ray -
There is no size limit for DOSSVC however it is intended to transfer text files, not binary files. .msi is a binary file. You could try FTSEND or FTRECV instead of DOSSVC, and select BINARY mode. Also note that some MV platforms do not support binary data in the file system, and some require specific file types to support binary data. Thanks, Pete |

I'm giving it a shot; however, it's erroring out with "Unable to open file C:\HOST\APCHOST.MSI". That file is indeed there:
I'm calling FTSEND as follows: CALL FTSEND("K,B,U,O","C:\HOST\APCHOST.MSI","","C:\PC","",ITEM.COUNT,BYTE.COUNT,STATUS)
