The problem is a result of using the INPUTCLEAR statement in several of the AccuTerm host programs. It should work fine, but for some reason using INPUTCLEAR with this Universe release caues PRINT statements in the program to truncate data once it exceeds some threshold, around 8K.

Rocket has a patch for this available now, but it is not included in a general release at this time.

UniVerse v11.3.1.6014 has been released, 10/10/2017

Note this is a controlled release that will not show in the Product Availability Matrix.

In order to view and order this product release, you need to login to the RBC system and modify your existing license. Click 'Edit' next to the existing product and then search to view the list of available releases.
Once the matrix is displayed, enter the code '11.3.1.6014' in the 'Also view controlled release' box just above the matrix then click search.
This release should then be displayed on the matrix and can be selected

Hi John -

Rocket has identified the problem and is working on a hotfix. I'll post details when I hear more from them.

Thanks,

Pete

Hey Pete,

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad, at least, to know it's not user error!

Keep us posted, thank you!

Hi Jonathan -

I believe the problem you are seeing is due to a bug in Universe 11.3. We have a support ticket open with Rocket to investigate this. The problem results in data being lost when sending from AccuTerm to Universe. Hope to hear back from Rocket soon.

Thanks,

Pete

Hi, we are in the process of moving from D3 to Universe, but I'm having some issues when trying to convert our GUI applications.

Compiling: Source = '../accuterm/GUIBP/SCv9', Object = '../accuterm/GUIBP.O/SCv9'
002919
        ^
End of File unexpected, Was expecting: Array Name, Variable name,
.......
.......
.......
"RECORDLOCKL", "RECORDLOCKU", "WRITESEQF", "WORDSIZE", "RECIO",
"SETIT", "SEND", "UPRINT", "AUXMAP", "ACTIVATEKEY", "DEACTIVATEKEY",
"DISABLEDEC", "ENABLEDEC"
1 Errors detected, No Object Code Produced.

Line 002919 is the last line of my program and is blank. I've tried putting an END, RETURN, or STOP, but nothing is compiling.

Am I missing something about Accuterm and Universe compatibility?
